No its the factory solenoid that all of the vacuum lines go to! And it did still need that tank hose, the dumbass just didn't know what he was doing and the factory hose was burnt and he found that was where it was leaking vacuum pressure and just put a bolt in it like a moron!

Im not to sure which nipples you are refferring to! The petcock fuel nipple is going to the main fuel line and the vacuum nipple was going to the atmosphere but is now going to carb #1 like it is supposed to!

Ok,I know the larger line is the fuel feed from the carb. The smaller nipple on the petcock connects to the nipple on the left side of the engine for vacumn for the shuttle valve to operate. There are two nipples on the bottom of the metal tank itself. I'm pretty sure these just vent to atmosphere.

There aren't any other nipples on the bottom of my tank except the main fuel and carb vacuum line.

I think he is talking about the two vents near the back of the tank (not the petcock). There should be hoses connected to them and these hoses are routed towards the ground.

Yeah I think my tank is not the factory one b/c it doesn't have any other nipples on the bottom. Also, does anyone know where I can get a locking gas cap? I've been searching, but haven't found one yet. Mine just has a push and twist cap.
