Default Fuel and vacuum problems! Please help!

I have a 93 F2. When I first got it, it had been laid over and had been left to sit, outside for almost 5 months. It ran, but would spit and sputter on the low end, but once it got up to 8K in the RPMs it would scream with no problems! It doesn't have an exhaust can on it, but I took the carbs off, cleaned them(they were very dirty), cleaned the jets(High and low), and etc. Well now for some reason on the top right vacuum line on the carbs, underneath the Velocity stacks, when I have the bike on the kickstand and I leave the fuel on, fuel comes flowing out of that connector. And now the bike runs the opposite. It runs fine on the lower RPMs until I romp on it then it spits and sputters until 7-10K and cuts out. It will crank with no choke, idles fine but just has running issues. Any ideas of why fuel is coming out of that vacuum connecter and why it is running the way it is??
Thanks

just guessing...
float is stuck in one or more carbs (gas leak)?
carb boot (rubber thing that attaches carbs to engine) isn't seated/sealing properly (higher rpm sputter)?

I would pull the carbs off again and double check the floats are functioning smoothly, etc.
hope this helps, good luck, let us know what happens.

Ok not to trying to be an *** or anything but all of y'all were wrong. Thank you tho for you input! I checked through the carberator cleaning 101 and saw the vacuum line that's supposed to go from the garbs to the tank. The previous owner had cut this line and put a bolt in it. I fixed that an re-ran the line then plugged the big vacuum line in the center of the garbs, then removed the solenoid and left the vents open. Now the bike runs like a bat out of hell! It has never ran this good! It screams through every gear without missing a beat! Thanks again for trying to help me out.

The suggestions would have been better if you correctly described your problem. The "big vacuum line" are actually vents where fuel gets discharged when the float bowls are overfilling. What "solenoid" did you remove? It's surprising that your bike even ran without the vacuum connection to the petcock from carb #1, unless the vacuum valve isn't working properly and is leaking fuel into the carbs.

But it's good that your bike is running again!

I properly stated that the bike would idle fine, ran fine, until 7-10K RPMs. Then it cut out and that it was leaking fuel from the top right vacuum connecter on the carbs! This was with all of the vacuum hoses connected correctly(except that tank petcock to carb hose) according to the diagram on my factory intake cover.

Well this diagram(I'll post a pic of it tomorrow) shows that a hose goes from each of those overflow vents and 3 way with that big center one, then they go into a solenoid which is just kinda hanging around under the tank and then two more hoses come from the front intake system back to the solenoid. This solenoid also has a plug which goes to the wiring harness. Well I removed all of the hoses, and the solenoid(unplugged it). Then put a hose back on the big center connector and plugged it with a bolt, re-ran that hose coming from the tank to Carb #1, added about 3 inches of open ended hose to those top left and right vents, and just put some electrical tape over the wire connector for the solenoid. Now the bike cranks great, idles great, runs like a top, and no fuel leaks! I will take some pics of all of this stuff and I'll get a video of it running and post it up tomorrow... Or later today lol!

And thanks, I am glad that I finally got it running too! The only gauges that work on my factory set is the RPMs and the Temp. I checked the MPH cable and it is good, so I am planning to buy a Vector Vapor for the time being so I will still have RMPs, MPH, Temp, Shift light, and gear display. I'm planning to "Streetfighter" this bike so it will be a long work in progress! But now that it is running it'll make things much more motivating!

The solenoid sounds more like a valve from the way you are describing it. The previous owner may be having some issues with fuel delivery and decided to use a switch-controlled valve to let fuel flow to the carbs. Since the vacuum from carb #1 is no longer needed, he plugged the hose with a bolt.

So the 2 nipples on the bottom of the fuel tank, what connects to them? Hoses that just vent to atmosphere?
