Default Front breaks hitting the carrier!!

Hi All,
i have just bought a cbr 600 f2. Its got a problem with the front breaks, the carrier is hitting the disk when applied whilst ridding.will a replacement of new pads stop this? or is it the rubber boots that the sliders rest it? or could it be the slidders themselves or a combination of all the above? any helpfull info would be great!!

Ta.

I have resolved this by putting washers between thr forks and carrier. this has spaced out the carrier so the disk runs though the middle. dont know if washers were suppose to be there before???? must buy a bible quick!!!!

Wait.

Are you saying the pads were dragging on the rotor (not retracting?)

Or that the rotor is hitting the brake caliper?

Or something completely different??

Are your wheel spacers on the correct sides?

If your looking at bike from front, the right hand side has the speedo drive and no spacer. the right hand side has a little spacer.. is this right?
