i was about to change my brake pads and was wondering if you need to do anything special to the rotors... any help

 

Are the pads worn down to the wear plate or are they just sqeaking? If they are just sqeaking, clean the inside and outside of the rotors off with break cleaner. The pad will actually skip and sqeal because there is too much break particle dust built up on the rotor. I clean my rotors off at least once a year.

 

no the pads are worn down pretty bad havent been riding for that reason!

 

Just the allen head to remove the rotors, i would also advise a little blue loctite for re install.
