cooling fan issue
ive been noticing my bike is getting way to hot everytime i come to a stop. So i look at my fan when its hot and nothing, the fuse is fine. Whats next, i know one of you CBR gods knows
if the fuse is good, and the fan isnt coming on to cool the bike it could be the water temp sensor on the radiator (not the engine one, thats for the guage)... well this is what you do, unplug the connector from said sensor and turn the bike to run (dont start it), then short out the two pins in the connector... boom, the fan should come on. if it does, bad sensor. if not, bad fan or no power/ground which require more troubleshooting. let us know and we will give you more assistance.
hey friend, i have an issue with my fan, when the bike is getting hot i turn on the fan with an extra switch, but if i have the headlights on, the bike fails and try to stop, if i dont pull gas the bike stops, any suggestions.
