Clutch rumbling, chattering noise

I probably wouldn't spring for the valve adjust and carb sync unless your idle or take-off performance is poor.
I was forced to do the carb sync to my bike because the idle was noticably rough. Simply sounded like some cylinders were stronger than others. The carb sync really cleaned that up (in addition to the aftermarket CCT, of course).
To have those two jobs done professionally at the shop probably runs you $250-400 from what I've read on this site. That being said, neither of them are outside the realm of what a backyard mechanic can do!! On one of the other threads there is a guy Jesse who is gearing up to do the valve adjust. And he could buy an entire brand new set of Craftsman wrenches and sockets for what he'll pay a pro to do it for him!!
Carb sync involves no wrenching, just some clear PVC hose, a few fittings and some liquid.
