Default Any Sugestions on How to Get Rust Off

The rest my bike is in awesome shape expect my lower triple tree (I think thats what you call it) but check my pic. Anybody know of a good way to clean it off?

I know your part isn't chrome but I was surprised how well this worked.
slides in between cracks. worked on my exhaust tip.

"A simple and inexpensive way to remove rust from and polish chrome surfaces by hand is to rub it with aluminum foil dipped in water"
Cleaning Chrome

Good suggestion, I used that stuff all the time on my Harley. I will try it, thanks!
