hey fellas(and any ladies), i am looking for a set of forks for a 90 model, also am looking for the oil catch pan portion of the bodywork. i just bought the bike today and am sure to need more parts as i start to get into it. thanks in advance for any response or leads on parts. jeremy

 

Welcome to the forum. I have a lot of parts from my 91. They will go right on that 90 model you have. Where do you live? If you need enough parts I'd be willing to make you a great deal on all that I have left. I do have the forks, don't have the full oil catch though, only one side.

 

thanks for replying drew! i live in alabama on the coast. what other parts do you have? i think i just need the triple trees, but i haven't tore the forks down yet. do you have any other plastics for the bike? i also may need the stator and/or regulator-rectifier as my bike does not appear to be charging the battery. i do not plan to tear into this bike until this fall/winter when the weather cools down a bit, so i am not into a big rush, but am sourcing parts now...

 

The only things i sold are the front calipers, clutch, swing arm, left peg, left fairing, and the radiator and fuse covers. I really would like to get these parts out of my garage. How about $150 plus shipping for the forks, triple trees (both upper and lower). Then maybe another $50 for the stator and regulator-rectifier? I have the right plastic, both sides under the seat and the rear. I also have a white upper. Let me know if the prices are ok.

 

drew, i will definately take the stator and regulator. i am on the fence on the forks, i would prefer to determine what i need for sure on the forks before i give you a answer on the forks. i am sure shipping on the forks will be substantial due to weight.. email me skootertrash74@hotmail.com and we can trade info.

Dunno ......say 35 bucks ....... just really need the shell because it's going to be cut open and worked on first with an updated spring added after.. found a Guy that knows a Guy who's best friends girlfriends brother works on these rebuilding them ......LOL
