Smile New Hurricane owner

Hi,everybody just bought a 1987 Hurricane 1000 that has been restored
100%.The engine has been rebuilt, bike has been repainted,etc....
I'll post some pics soon.My question is the rear tire is the original size
and I would like to go a little wider, for the look but I want to do it the right way. What size can I safely put on?Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Great looking bike.

Enjoy and contribute whenever you can.

I run a 180/55-17 and would not even consider anything wider.
