Nice one indeed,

now all you have to do is the wheel and fenders mod and it will be a beautiful one! What is the bike in the background?

I`m not sure what the bike in the background is,the guy who sold me
the Hurricane told me but in my excitement was not really listening .
I do remember that he did the paint himself,I see that your from Quebec
so am I,maybe we can meet up this summer and ride.

I`m from the Montreal area.I don`t keep my bike in the city,I keep it on
the south shore in my dads garage. Most of my riding is in the Monteregie
area,we always end up at the Rockburn bar on Saturdays.Nice place to
meet other riders.

Enjoy and contribute whenever you can.

I run a 180/55-17 and would not even consider anything wider.
As an owner of an '87 I am going to go out on a limb and say a 180/55 tire will not work. I think the rear wheel width is less than your year. Stock tire size on my bike is 140/80. Once in the past on went with a 150/70, but it was pinched and wore fast.

It will not work unless you do this:

https://cbrforum.com/forum/showthrea...74#post1016074

I have been running a 180 in the back for the last 3 years and a 120 in front, with the parts it takes a maimum of two hours to finish.

Have a good day!

Oh! another thing you might want to do is to check your expension tank for coolant and if the tube goes down to the bottom to cut it it halfway so that way the you keep your collant and not get rid of it because the system thinks that the reservoir is completly full!

I know my 87-88's

Have a gooday

if you need any info please refer to me or Indy we know theses beast inside out and one last thing, run oil which is 15/50 or 20/50 because it helps build prewssure for you tensioner and helps the heat transfer.

Last but no least where did you buy it, ther are but afew around MTL, i know of 3 including mine.
