Spedo said 172mph (but we all know that **** is off) After 160 it takes for ever to climb up.

 

If you are going for top speed you should go the other way with the sprockets. Go down in back and up in front...

 

Why??? Where is TK?? top speed is too fast for any road. Period. Ask Joey....... If you don't know he died tryin to find the top speed. Not a good idea. take it to the track.

My speedo read 186 and it was still pulling when i let off, dont care to top that one myself...

 

I'm down one in the front up two at the rear and I had a police friend tag me at 173, and I still had room before redline. I wasn't on a track but it was a semi-controlled situation with my friends. I honestly never looked to see what the computer thought I was doing.

 

I tested mine a couple of weeks ago for the first time really opening her up,had a run against a big guy on his KAWA ZX10, and from robot i gave him a hidding and after a little while i looked at my speedo and i was hitting 295km (183mph)and she was still pulling,obviously i was laying flat at that speed, i caught a fright not realizing the speed i was doing i tapped off straight away and started to ride like a civilized person, its nice to know how much your machine can do. Most of these bikes will run to 299km on clock

 

The fastest i've seen on mine is 187 last weekend...but I know the speedo is off because of the -1+2 gearing. This was on an early morning ride on a long secluded road. I was passing my buddy on the straight, looked down when I passed him, saw 187 @ redline and got off. I didn't realize I was going that fast and she still had more in her...but I'm not going there again.

 

Fastest i have been on my 071000rr is 172 indicated... i'm assuming thats 166-167mph gps'd. I still would like to kno the max speed my bike can achieve... but i didn't just say that. we have ungodly strait and deserted roads around here... 400mph is achieveable on these roads. lol
