Here's the bike I was talking about.

Not as fancy, mostly OEM parts and slight modification of the air box.

He eventually bought a 1000rr gauge and ran just the 1000 ecu

I have gen 1 Busas 46 mm tb:s waiting in the garage. Next winter i'll get them fitted They need little machining that they don't interfere with the 954:s head. I was planning on using Schnitz racing 10mm stacks with them.

Have to see will i use RE85. Probably if we will bump the compression a bit but well see about that. The head has to come of first and then will see what are the changes But now i'll just ride the crap out of it.

on your actually engine you are still using the original fuel pump? one guy told me that i should use the cbr 600rr fuel pump because it's more better than the 954 pump..he told me the same also about the injectors..any opinion?

I'm using the stock fuel pump and injectors but i have a set of Busas injectors waiting with the TB:s. I doubt the pump is any better and i would imagine that the injectors are smaller on 600RR.

I doubt the pump is any better.

Maybe it's a little stronger because it has to deliver fuel to 8 injectors at really high rpms, but you wouldn't see any benefit to it, with a 954 rail and FPR. The 04-07 pumps are the same style as a 954's as well. The only real benefit I could see is that they're slightly newer...

As far as the injectors, I'd figure the 1000 ones to be more similar, or an upgrade. You'd have to see what flow rate and nozzle configuration they have. They could be the same injectors. And, are you sure the top injector is the same as the bottom injector???

I do know the 954's injectors are an upgrade from the 929's because of the nozzle, so it stands to reason that Honda might have upgraded again, but with the dual injection system, who knows. It may not be a viable option at all.

And you need to be careful with swapping injectors since there's no o2 sensor. You need injectors that have a really similar flow rate, and operate at a similar pressure. The nozzle would be where you'd see gains.
