Default 04-05 airbox

Those of you who have an 04-05 CBR 1000 RR. In your air box is a white canister knows as the "Tank Breather." Basically it is an openbox connected toa tube coming from the tank. It's purpose is suspose to recycle the atomized fuel back into the intake system. However, the one for the 06 model is a chamber built into the air box and is smaller thus making the capacity for the 06 air box larger than the 04 and 05. What I want to know is have any of you noticed it? And if so what would be the draw back of removing it to increase the airbox capacity? Any feedback will be appreciated.

Just get an intake or make you own... Leave the air box alone it's fine....

Granted the intake will be done....The issue is about increasing the capacity of the Air Box through a simple means instead of spending money for one on the 06 or the ever-so-expensive HRC air box.
