Ok so previously I was having a starting problem and I replaced my r/r and when I went to start the bike it almost started so i tried a few more times with no results...disappointed I walked away for a lil while and when I came back I noticed an oil drip and a trail leading all down the left side... Somehow oil shot out over the top of the airbox and under the tank but no oil got on the air filter anytime hav a similar problem or can help point me in the right direction to start looking

 

the bike also still wasnt running and i pulled the stator cover off out of curiosity and is there suppose to be a thick yellowish substance on it? is that just from the heat and the oil? not really sure wats going on or where to even start
