2002 cbr 954 shift drum. How much wear is acceptable. Carefully looking it over this is the only worn section i can find. I am replacing the shift forks.

 

Depends on whether or not you are having any missed 1-2nd shifts. The dogs on the gears in the transmission being worn will cause more problems. If you can find a Factory Pro Evo shift kit it really improves shifting over the stock setup. Check out pics of the drum in the link below from my old 954.
