Default shift forks cheap??

I need shift forks for my 98 cbr900.. does anyone know where I can find them cheaper than $65 per?

i got a whole trans, 3 shift forks and shift drum off ebay with 5k miles on it for 65.00 and that with shipping. its worth checking it out. That shift drum can be a pesky Critter

You said the "S" word. shame on you. No one wants to hear their bike may have that problem. lol

Mine does.. To be sure if it is a bent shift fork, you should remove them first and examine the shaft and the forks for any damage. I hear on some bikes if the shaft gets slightly bent it makes shifting a p.i.t.a.

I think my bike has a bent shift shaft. It's giving me the shaft at certain rpm's and shifting senarios.
