piston ring advice
Well, I have began to reassemble the engine, cylinder repaired, and ran into something I had never seen before. The piston rings have no markings, bevels, stamps, or any way to identify which side goes up. I was hoping to reuse them since they are within spec but concerned and don't want to reinstall upside down. What is the possibility it could have been worked on at one time and had aftermarket rings put in that have no top or bottom, or do all cbr 954 rings have a top and bottom. If I can't figure this out I may just order new rings to be on the safe side.
