Hi my name is Lionel and i am very new to this , so please be kind. I have a big problem with my 2003 cbr 954rr and my remote start. now that i have the alarm installed , it will not start. All of the other fuctions work ,the engine turns over but it will not start. Befor this there would be a hiss from fuel pump . when you turned the key you would hear that hiss . Now you don't .I can't get the bike to start . Could someone please tell me what to do .

 

Something is not wired correctly with the bike's on board security system and the alarm you installed. It's not powering up the fuel pump.

 

Do you know how I can fix this problem, what is it I need to do. I really would like any help I can get .

 

Recheck your wiring. It didn't start right after the alarm was put in, correct? Who put it in?

If this is over your head, take it to a shop to figure out. We have no idea what is going on based on the info provided. If you can provide more details, we can walk you through electrical diagnostics. However, you need to be able to test and do the work yourself. Are you up for it and have the proper tools?

 

It did start when i put the alarm in . The bike was running fine befour i put the alarm in . I feel i touched a wrong wire which caused the problem.

 

Start by checking your fuses and retracing your steps. Look at the diagram again to ensure everything is in the right place and not crossed up or anything.

 

Hello again i am still having the problem with bike not starting. if anyone has advise for me i am here in Fort Jackson SC please help . As stated befour the bike was running perfect. I then installed the alarm system , that's when the problem started . The hiss from the fuel pump is no longer heard , the engine turns over but won't start. Can someone tell me the location of the four relays on the 2003 cbr 954rr . I have located three of them at the rear right side of the bike . But have not been able to locate the last one. and maybe this is the problem. Can any one help with this. Thamk You .
