Sounds like your not getting enough amperage to the starter motor from your battery, what are the details of your battery

Certainly the right battery, how are your connections (+ and - ) from the battery through the solenoid to the starter motor and back to the battery, though it starts doesn't mean your battery is ok

Yes , if it wont start off the battery alone , but then starts through the booster, its because the booster is giving an increase in amperage, could be down to the battery ,but checking the cables and connectors will help

So update took the bike out for a spin... and i did not have a problem cranking it back up...so I am guessing that it was that connection that was loose.

CabaRet make sure you check your connections because I was having the same issue even pulled off my PC3 because I thought that was it ... and it was not... I might put it back on.

I also did a amp test and pulled the starter off to check it every thing checked out good..

One thing you can do if you think its the battery is to bypass the starter relay.
