Default Height & Weight

Sup guys? I'm thinking bout picking up a 02 954 this weekend.
My question is will I like the fit for my height and weight. I stand 6'2" 200 pounds any one else on here around my size with feedback?

I currently ride a 91 1000f which of course is a bit different set up but it's comy to ride.

Any replies is much appreciated in adavance.

It will be fine. Set the suspension up for your weight though. When it comes time to do the fork seals, get the correct springs and do it right.

I'm 6'1, 225. I am very comfortable on my 929. It's basically the same fit as the 954. I've put 100k on 2 of them without any problem with seating position (other than the normal "been sitting in the same position for an hour", typical bike stuff).

Depends how long your legs are. After longer rides my knees get pretty stiff and I need to stretch out. I'm 6'0 175lbs. If I'm not mistaken, ths 954 has slightly higher rear sets than the 929, which would make it slightly more cramped.......I'm not 100% on that though.

I'm 6'3" 205lbs, had the bike for 7 years and the fit is fine. I'm never selling this bike. This is the best "Fireblade" ever made. Honda needs to bring back Tadao Baba

5'9" 225.....Most of my weight is in my ********...The 954 is notorious for being undersprung in the front. If it is casual to aggressive street riding. Crank the front up to its highest setting. If you have any aspirations of going to the track and running at higher speeds. Get the front end built specifically for you. She tends to dive alot more than what is comfortable under heavy braking. Extreme acceleration will upset the suspension as well. With that said...Regardless! You will have to pry my 954 from my cold, dead hands....

Well I picked up my new to me 02 954 with 11,400 on it. I already love it and have only ridden it 3 times. I like the fit so far but haven't really ridden it like it needs to be ridden. Now that I am in So Cal. I hope I will be riding it always and very soon.
