Default Your Height, Your ride's height...

Hey guys, I was just wondering how tall are the people here and whats the seat heights of your rides? I got a 2006 F4i and I'm 5'5 and would personally like my seat height of 31.9 inches to be a litte bit lower to the floor to be 100% comfortable.

I ask this question because when I get new bikes etc and move on from my nice rounded Low-ish seat to a higher, flatter one (600RR for example) how I would find the shape and height of the seat. I know with more experience that it will only get easyer to handle any size bike but it feels nice to be able to be firmly planted to the floor in high winds etc... (like on my CBR125 hehe)

Is there any people shorter than me who ride with higher seat heights? Cheers, Tom.

Well this is a new topic to me.

I'm barely 5'9" and my split seat f4i is one click down on the rear spring with both of my compression screws 45 degrees soft of center and both of my rebound screws about half that. Not sure what that equates to in seat highth

jp, Is there anyway on th 06 'nanna seat that I can bring the seat down closer to the floor like the way you mentioned Using suspension settings. Im a light guy (120Lbs) so I could probably lower the suspension without worrying about it bottoming out if this is possible?

remove the vinyl, shave the seat foam down, and have an upholstery shop put the original vinyl back on for you?

As stated changing the seat is one option.
Another is lowering links.
Another is to adjust the sag and turn down the spring in the rear. All have their obvious pros and cons.
