Finally got a hold of someone who had some info. Dad was a black lab, mom was a border collie. So I asked why he had rot. Markings and was told that grandpa was a pure bread rot. So that explains that as for age couldn't get a straight answer im going with two or three months though.
Thanks for the positive words of rescue. But to be honest every animal I have got has been a rescue. Its one thing I believe in and mutts always seem to have the greatest most unique personalitly because they aren't bread for it.

Nice looking little guy, probably won't stay little for to long. Wish more people would consider saving a life, rather than spend $100's on so called boutique dogs from pet shops, (which is just another way of saying mixed breed or mongrel anyway) & there are plenty of boutique mutts (& pure breed) available in pounds.
Good on you for caring.

Not that it matters, but it doesn't look like rot to me. I know its only a puppy, but it sure looks almost pure english shepard. My sister has had a few of them and they look almost identical to that one. either way, its going to be a decent size dog. have fun with it.
heres a pic of a english shepard pup.
