Default Chain?

Good day Fellow6 till 10 riders...question, if I change my sprockets to 15/45 (-1 in front +2 in rear), do i need to change my chain too or can I stick with the factory setup (530/108)?

Thanks!

as long as you have a 530 sprocket you should be good...but i would recommend to change the chain and sprockets at the same time...

ive read articles that discuss the right setup for the 54, they say the -1 +2 is the way to go especially if u can get the 520 sprocket and chain setup. im runnin -1 +2 on the 530 but if ur gonna change the sprockets change the chain also.

520 chains and sprockets are lighter by about1 pound they are also weaker than 530...unless your on a track i would not go to a 520 setup there is a reason they put a 530 setup on this bike
