ive been thinking about selling my 03 600rr and getting an 03 954rr, i ride my 600 everyday to school and almost every weekend in the canyons, is there anything i should know before getting one? like common problems with the bike or just anything in general would help. i hear that the 954'shave an anti-rollover sensor that shuts off the bike from doing wheelies and can only be fixed by the honda dealer and its like $1500+ to have it fixed, is this true? but, i also hear that the 954's are probably the easiest bike to wheelie...any information about the 954 would be useful, thanks.

 

it's not really a anti rollover sensor it's a tip sensor which turns the bike off incase of a crash.. you dont have to worry about it tho.. this is the last thing you should be worrying about, also the 954 is a great bike, and yes easy to worry but LEARN HOW TO RIDE IT before u worry about tricks

 

Typin a lil fast there Bob? speaking personally on stuntin.... the 954 is a stuntin beast but like any wild animal it will bite you in the ***! trust me I got really familiar with the ground tryna tame the 954! Never heard of wheelie'n and the bike cuttin off, that could get really painful! I think you will be highly satisfied with the 954
