There is a bike for sale that is $4600 for 2002 954 which seems kinda cheap. The guy bought it from florida, so I'm wondering if there is anything funky about that. I have heard that there are some states that if they had a salvage title vehicle it is possible to bring to CA and it will lose its salvage title and you would never know it. Does anyone have any experiense with buying from florida?

 

have you seen the bike firsthand or is this for sale online?? sounds to me the seller is to eager to be rid of the bike...(what kind of condition is it in?) if i could find a decent 954 for 4600$ i would barter down to 4200$ and buy the bike for a spare. after selling off the plastics, tank,frame and forks .you could make out with a spare engine and wheels for next to nothing... how many miles does it have?

 

Man, there is no comparison from F4 to 954. That ***** is fast, but I guess you probably know that already=) It is salvage titled and had lots of scratches and one blinker didn't work and some other stuff, so I'm not gonna mess with it. Had to get used to the turning. It takes more lean to turn the 954 vs the F4.

 

yep.. have 02 f4i will sell 3900$ in md dc or va ... needs tires and speedo fix. wouldnt buy a bike w/salvage title. ever.

 

Would not recommend buying a bike with a salvage title unless its for parts jus cause of the fact of not knowing thge extent of the damage done
