@chuck1073... I got my set up from OGIO... They look exactly like the bags that BadS1 has... They held all the stuff I needed for a 4+ day road trip and I had room to spare... I rode in through the rain on every day of the trip and the bags did pretty good against the wet... But they are not 100 percent waterproof even with the rain covers... I did pack my stuff in plastic trash bags and then packed them in my bike bags... No moisture got into the bags themselves but the rain covers did have a small pocket of moisture on the inside... So I would recommend these style of bags for a road trip but I would also advise to take the extra step of packing things in plastic bags just for some added waterproofing...
