Redline Full Syn. 15/50. Got no proof. But I swear by it! The Bike runs much better and cooler with it. In combination with Engine Ice. My Bike is a Happy Camper. No clutch slippage either. Expensive, but I think its worth it!

Seems like most people are guessing, look at the facts, and compare tests, yes tests, thats how standards are set. Fram oil filters are better than not changing oil, but cut one open and look at the cardboard inside. I use Honda oil filters or Bosch, its good enough for the sports cars oem. Tests confirm Mobil 1 and Amsoil seem to take top notch. Synthetic helps on cold start ups, most metal to metal contact on cold start; therefore, I use full synthetic. Walmart sells full synthetic motorcycle oil for 7$ a quart; you only need 4, thats 28$; how much does it cost to replace/rebuil engine? The most important part is to change it when its do. Dont put full synthetic and change it every 2 years just cause it sits. If you change your oil at maintenance intervals, there isnt one brand oil out there that will cause your engine to fail; if you dont change your oil everyone of them will cause damage. Better to eat non-kosher and live, than to starve.
