Nothing engine wise has been taken apart. Bike was wrecked. I was told the ECU came off during the wreck. I believe we have eliminated enough issues to go ahead and point to the ecu? All greens have ground at light gray plug. Fuel pump kicking on. All injectors and coils have 12v. I’m not getting any ground pulse anywhere, not even at the light grey ecu plug black/white wire.

No repaired sensors and wires match at plugs. I tested continuity on harness side back to computer. All good there as well

Very possible you have damaged terminals in ECU connector or ECU itself. Take close look at those.

Might even have busted ECU

Ecu appearance wise is fine, terminals are all good, plugs are in good shape, the light gray does have a small crack on one side but no wires have pulled out or retracted.

I was trying to diagnose and eliminate down to the ecu before I spent money on parts.

Only thing left to verify is cam-sensor trigger wheel. If fingers aren’t bent, then that really only leaves ECU.

We had the same problem on a couple of our cbr bikes. In the end it was cam sensor on both. We did check the resistance but it appeared fine off the bike. It was only after hours of checking everything and we replaced the cam pulse generator we borrowed a cam sensor and that was the problem sorted. Bought replacements off ebay about £45, each
They are simple to remove so well worth a check..

Sorry, missed this earlier. This should be grounded through safety interloc switches. Measured with red probe on grn/red and black probe on chassis-ground should be close to 0-ohms.

And yes, pulse generator trigger fingers being off would still generate required 0.7 VAC minimums, but timing will be off and you won’t get spark. Those fingers are really easy to bend. Just putting cam on bench when doing valve-clearances is enough to bend them.
