Clean title? I'd start with $3800, let the seller take you up - wouldn't pay more than $4200 though for a non-running bike and even then I'd be a bit cautious

Salvage title? Start at $3000, don't go higher than $3800. These are all my opinions and don't necessarily reflect those of the CBRFourm staff or moderators,

That sounds a little fishy...I know you had posted that you are mechanically inlclined, but tearing apart a carburetor is a lot different than dianosing a FI bike. I would stay away from that unless you knew what was wrong with it. $.02

Sorry, it's an '00, needs a rear tire, front soon.

Current owner was hurt in the Military and cannot ride anymore, so he has no interest in fixing it.

if the bike is solid then hell its a good price. it can only be a few reasons you arent getting spark (doesn tmean these will all be Cheap reasons haha) if its clean title i say jump on it just be prepared to dump some money into it .

I would pay $3800 for a non running bike! I definitely wouldn't pay $3800 for a non running bike with some cracks in the fairing.

KidCr3nshaw,now if you would, I got a 929ER with less than 6K in near show room conditions with more add-ons than you can shake a stick at and I want 6.5k

but anyways, I bought my 9 for $2700 with $1500 dollars in mods and it ran great with no real exterior damages.

so in other words I wouldn't buy it for more than 2k

for the simple fact you don't want to pay more than the bike is worth, then you have to pay to fix the issues it has.

well if you have to have it, pay as lil as possible but I would pas on it!

I agree bignibb. I think 3800 is way to high, hell i think 2800 is too high for a bike that doesn't run and not minty. If you have seen the bike and think you can get it running for under 1000bux maybe, maybe i would do it.
