Default what should i offer?

hey guys, about to buy my first bike. I was torn between a YZF600r and the CBR600F4I and from my research it looks like the honda is a better bang for the buck. The only question is, what are these things worth? I am going to look at this bike in a day or two and was looking for some input as to what a good price to offer is? Thanks - Cal

NADA has it listed between $3,160 - $4,155.

Kelly Blue Book value is $4,160.

Don't let then talk you into paying more than blue book. If they really want to sell; they will come down on the price. If they don't drop the price walk away(unless you absolutely have your heart set on that particular bike).

i would say around 3,500 at most and if you really like the bike then 3,800. i would not pay anymore than that. or just keep shopping you can definitely find a better deal out there.

i bought my 01 with about 7,000 miles on it about 2 years ago for 3,500 but i really wanted the bike.

No offense to you, but this helps how? Saying that you got an amazing deal on a motorcycle is irrelevant and arrogant (not to be harsh, just can't think of a better word). Markets are different, bike conditions are difference, luck is different.

It's best to just offer your opinion on the condition of the bike and what you might offer if you were in that situation. I'd really hate for some noob to be like "This guy got this same bike for $1,400, so I'll offer you $1,500 - no more." Cause they'll just get a door in their face.

On subject, that bike looks to be in pretty good condition from photos. That's not an unexpected price from a dealership (remember, you'll pay more from a dealer like 99% of the time).

I personally wouldn't pay more than $4100 OTD for that bike, if the condition seems as good as it does via photos. Less if it was private party.

That sounds about right with it being at a dealer, decent miles.

Here in the N.W. the dealers are like 5k for that same bike.

With spring here it's a sellers market. Probably sold while you

were thinkig about it. Good luck and good choice.

@aken, it helps because this is a forum. you're allowed to discuss different topics. I have common sense to know that just because one person paid $1,400 doesn't mean I will have the same luck. I was just lookin for some input and also to see who was riding what and what they paid for thats all. i know every bike will be a different situation. thanks again though guys
