i noticed that my bike had a melted wire hanging by the swingarm....its the sensor thing for the rear brake. i have the vortech rear sets and it doesnt have the tab or springs and piece for a sensor to illuminate the rear brake ligh???

 

Some of them do not have rear brake light hookup, or it is extra. Vortex it is extra, I believe. It hooks to the banjo bolt, is activated by hydraulic pressure, and bypasses the stock switch.

you can get the exact same set up on ebay for half the price. i had a set of vortex and the wiring harness broke and had to replace it after gettin rid of the rear sets like a complete dumb a$$. i still kept that setup after using stock ones but you can find it on ebay.....

 

so can i find the replacement sensor wire and get it hooked up somehow ?!
