Default SATO Rear Sets and Brake

I've got some SATO Rearsets on my 929 Erion. I've had them on for a couple of months and just noticed that they don't grab as hard as I want them to. They feel kind of like anti-lock brakes. I'd like them to lock up when I want them too. Right now, I feel like I'm going to snap off the foot lever as it takes some time and pressure to stop when I need.

Anyone know how to adjust the foot brake for a quicker stop???

id suggest to you buying ss brake lines. this will eliminate the problem and give you extra stopping power

Thanx for the info. I was thinking about getting new brake lines, but for now, I just want the stock setting.

You know how to adjust it???

brakes should lock up easily regardless of ss lines or not.

are you having problems adusting the lever? pix would help out lots.

the bolts for the lever should only make the lever go up or down but not have much to do with actually providing more pressure.

make sure nothing is pinched.

if you adjust the lever so that it has less angle, you'll be able to lock the rear up easier. i'll check with a similar set up at home to see if it may or may not help.

sexy rearsets mang!

Make sure you don't have air in the lines... and make sure the fluid level is within specs?

ok...adjust the lever so you get more downward force with your foot so it'll lock easier.

if it doesn't help, then you'll need to do some bleeding/flushing to see if you can get the pressure up again.
