Yes my turn signals worked with the brake applied. The instructions i got were that black was ground, yellow was turn signals, blue was running lights, and red was brakes. Splice the black into the green wires on each turn signal, and the yellow into the other color wire coming from the signal, believe one is orange. Then there are two plugs coming out of the stock taillight. You will need the green and yellow stripped and the brown wire. I believe the blue wire hooks into the center of that plug, whichever color that would be, brown or green stripped, and red into the wire you didn't use on the blue. As for the cutting instructions, they really don't help so just take a little of at a time. Hope this helps.

still haven't installed undertail yet but have a question- was looking at 929 manual and it looks like u have to remove the battery and the fuse holder from the old undertail, install the new undertail but where do the battery and fuse holder mount to the new undertail? Doesnt look like it mounts to the new one anywhere.is there a piece u leave in that i'm not seeing? I guess once i take everything apart it will explain itself when i see it, but am confused looking at the manual right now. Hate when something just doesn't look right

Yeah your not gonna need to relocate the battery or the fuse box. You really only need to cut about 4 to 5 inches back, off where the plastics drop down to the stock turn signals and license plate. Most of the stock undertail will remain. Just take a little off at a time until it fits.

Default undertail wiring

ok so the new one and the old one just kinda meet about 5 inches back? Sounds like it"s gonna look like ****. Do u have any pictures of the finished undertail? Now I'm kinda freaked out about cutting it and not liking the way it looks and being stuck with something i hate. Sorry to be a pain in the ***- Really do appreciate all the help from you. Thanks

Sounds like mine.. I have the hotbodies undertail and am in the process of trying to tie it all together so I have markers, brake and turn signals... thanks for the schematics I will try to get mine all wired up this week .. It is still cold as hell but the roads are clear I may have to get out and ride a bit!!!!

I have LEDS in mine will that make the wiring any different or is it still gonna be the same???
