I just bought one of the undertails from ebay with the two led lights that act as signals and brakes. Well the problem is that it didn't come with instructions and was wondering if anybody could tell me what connects where, or post the instructions to this particular tail.

could you post a picture of the tail light and the wires and we can better assist you.

 

Yeah that might help, its this one http://www.xdcycle.com/store/catalog...DC-p-1147.html . In the back of each led there is a yellow,black,blue and red wire. Hope this helps.

without it i never would've gotten my undertail together. and since the OP doesnt show the wires on the undertail i figure this should be a great 1st start so he can get to know the 929 ...god knows i looked at this everyday for like a week !

 

Thanks for the diagram, I can figure out whats what from the bike, but i dont know what wires are the turn signals brakes, etc on the tail. Im eventually getting these instructions but since I had it apartI figured I give it a shot here if someone had the same tail.

 

i have the same exact under tail, [and it also came from ebay with no instructions lol]but sadly after screwing with it for awhile with a power probe testeri gotrunning light, brake light, and turn signals but the signals will not work while the brakes are applied at the same time i cannot remember which wires did what on the lights, but if you dont find instructions let me know and i can unwrap my wiring and let you know how i did it

 

Yeah I got it all working finally got instructions, although they only helped with the wiring and not the actual cutting.
