I choose the kit that BlueFox recommended in his, "How-To," thread. $78 shipped to your door in 4 days. We'll see!
I've got the firstlayer of bondo on the upper, nice an thin. Not bad fills, but there are tons to be made, such is the case with fiberglass, generally.
Put my frame sliders on while it was waiting. As I look at the picture, I can't help but to be saddened by the horribly neglected headers. The titanium headers on the 929's look sick if kept clean. Guess I'm just gonna get some black header wrap, exhausts on these things don't get incredibly hot anyway.
I stopped cause I ran into a dilema - I HAVE THE WORST GARAGE IN MAN HISTORY. Don't have another extension cord and I can't sand without unplugging the shop lights... which allow me to be able to see anything. I'm headed to Menards shortly... here are pics until then.

Got my HID kit today! I was a little concerned about the packaging until I opened the envelope, packing was okay. Can't do much with them since the bike isn't painted yet so I just took a look.

I also started on my tank. It's got a knick in the paint and I'm just touching it up...
Here's what I started with...

I also changed things up a bit. The wheels have been sold to a guy in the powder coating shop, replacements were part of the deal. I'm doing something completely different and this time I'm going to keep it a secret until I'm done!
I haven't finished the tank yet, but I'm going to blast a coat of primer on it tonight when I finish. I'll update this thread then.
Enjoy the pictures and thanks for lookin'!

Nice work man. You'r going to love the HID's. I feel you on the garage. I have a two car with the 84 full size laying frame with 20's in one bay, the bike, riding mower, all my tools and one damn outlet! Needless to say this summer I'm putting in a ton of outlets and painting it to look like a real shop!

That's what I'm saying, right? Who the hell cares enough to build a garage and skips the friggin' floor or electrical outlets!!!
I'm pretty much done with the tank but it's dropped in temp here a ton (single digits), so I'm just not gonna eff with it. I need some kerosene heaters or something...
Thanks for the kind words, but the new paint is going to be a secret until I am finished. I have a bad habit of changing my mind (see my very similar, oldF3 thread). I've got a killer idea coming along but the only bad part is that I'm having to rely on someone else... I hate that so much.
The only thing left really is the midfairings need to have some minor rash filled - no biggie. Then I'll be ready to paint. Tail section and front fender/upper are ready to go.
