i had to sell my xbox 360 to pay for my new front end so i feel ya brother

 

I've decided to take some of the extra cash and try and knock out a rear seat cowl. I'm using the old seat from the bike as it has a hole it in, figured what the hell?

I've seen a handfull of ways to do it but I just decided to take the leather off the top, and lay about three layers down on top of it flush with the side, with the last layer snugly wrapping around the dges to hold everything on without mounting screws.

I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of sanding and bondo in the next few days BUT this thing doesn't look half bad so far in it's rough form.

I think I can knock this out and have a fairly good looking piece. Camera is jacked so no pics for a bit.

Please post some pics of how you do the rear cowl. I'm thinking of doing the same on mine

Anyone know if the cage will fit a 954 also...If so, Im intersted in it

 

I know the front would mount directly, I'm not sure about the rear mount. Shouldn't be much different if at all. If anyone knows, help us out!

 

From what ive been readsing after looking into it, they seem to be the same part numbers for 929/954.
Do you have any pics of it and how cheap would you be willing to let it go for, Shipped to NY 11758
