A little bit off topic from the normal fare here - I just got off the phone with my insurance company. I barely ride my 929 at all anymore. I have contemplated selling it quite a few times but just can't part with it. I live in PA and asked how much it would cost to make my insurance the cheapest possible for the time that I am not riding and it just sits in the garage. Anyway, it will be like $100 a year for the "state minimum" coverages with a $250 deductible on comprehensive... pretty cheap! Turns out I can still ride it with this coverage but I am a bit scared about the low coverages on such a policy. What do you guys do for your insurance strategy? Reduce your coverage during winter? Do any of you guys ride with minimal coverage in your policy? I was thinking of looking for a way to drop the coverage altogether for a year or two, but PA wants you to turn in your tag if you do this.
