Default First Bike / Good Deal?

Hello everybody. Just bought my first bike............off of ebay which probably wasn't the best idea. It is a 2000 Honda 929rr with 18k miles on it. The bike has a full akrapovic exhaust headers and all. It was supposed to have the valves done around 15k and when doing the vavles he said the guy before him put in a performance cam along with the pcIII and a performance clutch was installed. If someone could tell me how to post pics I would appreciate it. Can you post videos also? And how would you do that? I have questions about how the bike idles and sounds and I have a video that would definitely help alot more than me trying to explain how it's running but here it goes for now. The bike starts right up even when cold. It will idle high around 3 to 4k rpm for a minute or two while warming up and then drop down. When the bike is idling between 1200 and 1900 rpm it will idle roughly like a performance car would that has cams in it. I was wondering if that is anything to worry about. I tried to adjust the idle by using the adjustment on the side of the bike but it seems to be extremely sensitive and haven't had much luck with it. Either too much idle or not enough. Also the clutch area makes a racket when idling roughly at the low rpm. soundspretty loud but does goaway when you rev the bike up or pull in the clutch. The seller said this clutch noise is normal for all honda bikes. When you rev the bike up it sounds great, really loud and mean with the exhaust and doesn't smoke or carry on or have any tapping. Haven't ridden the bike yet but once I do I will let you know how it rides. Just looking for some thoughts on if the bike seems normal. If you can post videos and someone told me how I will put it up for you guys to check out and see what you think. You will hear all the noises and idle problems. Thanks for any input

hey bro welcome ! great choice of bike goto www.photobucket.com and you can host pixs and videos there. when posting links for pixs use [img][/img] .

and it sounds like maybe the seller installed the pc3 thinking that would correct the ratio right away.. but with a full exhaust system and preformance cam you would deffinetly need to have a custom dyno tune done on your bike ! and ive never worked with a performance clutch but i know my oem wasnt loud sounding.

your idle problem would be a direct result of your air/fuel ration out of whack due to the full exhaust and cam. get the bike professional tuned right away if you want it to run right.. and the 929's already come factory with titanium header so are you sure youre looking @ a full system or a slip on with oem header ? as far as the cam goes you wont know unless you pulled the motor ... unless you have a receipt showing the work was done .

The 929 rr has alot of H.P. for being your first bike ride alot and get to know that bike well, or you might just scare the crap out of yourself with it and that would not be good.
