my 929 sits in my garage and it freaking stinks like somone just left the fuel cap off all day long. everything is tight and sealed. does anyone elses bike do this? had a fzr600 that would smell after gas only when filled the tank up, but my cbr sat for 1 month while i was going over everythign after buying it and its always smelled like fuel...?

any ideas?

 

A little *BUMP* for my FZR buddy who came over to Honda.

 

mine does that after i fill up and it is hot i think it is just venting fumes out the tank vent as long as it is not leaking (fuel pump,fuel pump banjo bolt) you will be ok. just wouldn't smoke near it

 

i found out it was the vent....it was really strong even with the garage window open all day. i just pluged the vent holes up with a screw...much better and no smell!
