The pink wire must have 9v. There is a resistor on the bottom of the switch that reduces it. If the ECM doesn't see ONLY 9v, it won't fire the coils or injectors. It's a security feature to prevent it bike from being hotwired easily.

it's not resistor, but 4.7v zener diode. And ALL guides on internet has you installing it backwards and bike still won't start!
Best to get OEM Factory ignition-switch from authorised Honda dealer. Will work correctly 1st time around. No wasting endless time and money swapping parts, blowing countless fuses and going bald with head-scratching.
