Default Stupid question..

I just bought a 96 900RR, what are the "pegs" near the rear seat for?

Bungee cord hooks to secure goods and material on the rear seat, should you so desire. They fold up under the seat when you get tired of looking at them...

No, not those, i know what those are, those are under the seat. I'm talking about the peg looking things that physically stick out of the rear tail plastics.

They are for attaching whatever to the back (they are round and dont fold). They are too far forward for my liking but luggage was their intended purpose. The folding ones are the footpegs for the passenger.

Oh, the front round ones. Sorry, took me a minute to read your mind. They're just fairing bolts, mostly for looks, but also for bungee hooks. Pictures go a long way.

Yep Bungee tie downs for whatever you need to hold on the rear seat.
