I posted this in General Tech area, but I'm thinking that might not be the right place. I'll get it all figured out before long!
As a newbie to the forum and to the CBR, I've searched past threads to find this answer, but to no avail. I've got a 1997 CBR900RR that's got a good motor and a few other parts. I'm either gonna sell the motor or put it on another bike. What years will this motor fit?

96-97 will be a direct bolt on............but it'll fit anything with enough work. I would guess if you are looking for a direct bolt on.....96-97 are your choices........98-99 are same and 93-95 are same.

 

you can put a motor out of a 97 in a 95 as well. i put a 97 motor in my 95 bolts right up no problems.
