Here's a diagram for ya. I got the factory manuel on cd if you want a copy. Get the Haynes manuel alot more descriptive the factory.

 

Ok trying to figure out why you think they aren't 95 front plastics. Yes I am very new to the 900rr but from what I have been told and seen 95-97 were same. Tails sides are slightly different. ( vent configuration) . So what am I missing? Or not? Lol

 

Yes Vinman I would live a copy.

 

92-95 have 2 seperate circle headlights
96-97 have a flat nose singe housing and little center driving light

98-99 have the most modern curvy front also with center driving light and different upper fairing support

 

looks like 95 plastic to me.
only 92/93 - 94 had the 2 round headlights.
96 lost the lower fairing vent holes.

 

It is at least 95 plastic.
