I'm new to the sight, but any info would be greatly appreciated. I've completely restored a 1993 CBR 900RR but have recently been having problems with it shutting off on rides. It feels just like when the main fuel has run out and you need to switch to reserve. Only problem is it dosn't help the situation. If I choke the crap out of it, it starts (only for a moment) runs rough and quites, after doing this over and over for about 10min it clears up and runs perfect. Here's what I've done so far.....

The tank has been resealed with POR-15
New Honda fuel pump
New Honda fuel filter
New Honda fuel cut relay
New fuel line from pump to carbs (but not the rest yet of the fuel lines yet)
Droped bowels on carbs to check for trash in the seat
Checked all vent tubes in tank
New Honda tank valve and sock filter

Now the last time I thought I fixed it, it shut off on the interstate. I pulled off the road disconnected the fuel line from the tank to the pump, and connected the linefrom the carbs directly to the tank valve. Bike fired on the first rev and off I went. On the way home from work that night it did it again! It dosn't matter if its cold or hot, long ride or short ride, sunny or rainning. About to set it on fire!!! Please help!!!!

 

its gonna end up being something simple. Hose on the vent tube clogged? pump grounded good n pumping?
