Default a few issues, help needed

hi guys,
im new here and just want to ask fro some help regarding my bike's suspension.
thats one of a few things i want to do to my bike.. i never worked on my bike before so that would be my 1st thing to do..
i have a 99 cbr900rr, the bike feels very rigid on bumpy roads.. i just want it to be a bit smoother..

also my chain seems a bit loose and needs adjusting..

any help would be appreciated..

thanks..

The chain is covered in the bike's handbook, best place to start. And the suspension, assuming it's all stock, put it back to the settings as it left the factory to start with. Then you can adjust from a known good setup - and there are plenty of guides online to help out with the adjustment.
