I have an 08 cbr 1000 and I installed the healtech GI PRO DS series gear indicator. After a few rides it started doing some weird things, like cutting off the bike while I was riding. It happened a couple of times so I disabled it this past weekend. Has anyone experienced or heard of this before. It seems to happen when I accelerate quickly or sometimes when downsshifting through the gears and reach about 2nd or 1st.

Since I unhooked it, the bike appears to ride as normal. It is hooked up through the diagnostic connector and gets it info directly from the ecu.

Any help would be appreciated.
