It certainly sounds like a seized donk, but there is seized & there is seized.
heat causes the expansion of metals & that's when everything gets locked up, but after its cooled you can sometimes have a situation that the internals are not welded together.
Worst case scenario is getting some oil into the barrels (via the spark plug inlet) & letting it seep down. You don't need gallons, 3 or so tablespoons in each will do the job. leave it overnight & yes replace your oil as well. Next day hit the kill button to ON (assuming yours is the same as mine & still cranks the motor but won't let it fire) Try the starter with a couple of quick jabs just to see wot happens & then progress (hopefully) from there. Sure you can strip the motor down, but this will tell you if its worth it.

If you don't get anything from pacemaker's suggestion, pull off the valve cover and ignition pulse cover. Turn the engine over (clockwise, but double check w/ F4i guys) with a socket and ratchet and look to see what the top end is doing. You might want to remove the plugs to release the compression if it moves. If the engine won't budge, you can try moving the crank from the flywheel which means you'll have to remove the stator cover. If still no luck, dump the oil. Look for metal shavings in it. I am guessing that you'll see some sort of metal shaving in it. This is a sign of internal damage and that you will most likely have two options, repair the engine which could easily exceed the value of the bike or buy a used engine and put that in. If you buy a used engine, you can recover some of the cost by stripping down your old engine and selling off the good parts.

man that sucks. Great suggestions above. A agree 100 percent that you should buy a replacement engine versus fixing this one. It sounds like some pretty catatrosphic damage.

a few posibilities, your oil pump went out, and in doing so, your cams probably locked into your cylinder head. You spun a main bearing and in doing so, the shifted bearing will block flow of oil and make the oil light come on. Either way, you lost oil pressure for some reason and your engine starved for it.

as far as where your oil went. the oil will not fill into the window until the bike has sat after an initial warm up. The procdure to checking your oil if your bike is already warm is to shut it off, let the bike sit for 2-3 minutes, then check the sight glass.

Did the engine smoke at all through the exhaust?

How many quarts of oil did you put in the bike?
is it possible you overfilled it?

I've seen overfilled bikes purge the oil through the airbox and into the cylinders and locking the engine up. But it would take quite a bit and you would have seen a lot of smoke out of your exhaust before it died. Again, you would most likley know it as you would have a cloud of smoke behind you.

The best course of action right now I think it to check your spark plugs for any metal on them along with to make sure there isnt any oil on them. Also, as aready suggested, check your oil for metal. small sparkles of metal are normal, but any shavings or chucks, I would be looking for a replacement engine.

Well if it would have happened while you were NOT riding I'd say your motor was hydrolocked. Take out the spark plugs and cover the holes with a rag and hit the starter button. That will blow all the oil outta the head. You should be able to start it after that, if it ain't seized. Good Luck

I pulled it apart for the most part tonight. I didn't overfill the oil, i only added a quarter of a quart after we stopped, i had changed the oil just a week prior. From what I could see and trace, I think my oil pump failed and the block went dry. I am pretty sure the pistons are all sealed shut via the cam or they fused shut.

New engine I am thinking.

Sorry to hear about that. Being how it's an F4i, there should be some available on eBay. Did you try turning the engine over by hand from at the flywheel?
