Default 02 F4i with some issues

Ok, so I just bought a 02 f4i with about 23k on it. Love the thing. Here's my issue. The indicator lights for the turn signals and the high beam stay on as soon as I turn the key. The FI light also turns on and stays on just after the fuel pump primes. Oil light seems to work ok and do its thing when you start the bike and all. The bike starts and runs great, idles smooth and all. All the turn signals and lights, gauges and everything work ok. I did notice that all the wires to the harness to the gauge cluster had crimp connectors. Not quite sure what could cause all the the indicator lights to stay on like that. Any input is greatly appreciated- thanks!

Are you sure the running light circuit has not been wired into the indicators? This is how I have my bike wired... it is a GOOD thing... the FI light however is not! Read the code and go from there. Hopefully it is just a sensor that needs a squirt of carb cleaner!

Well I started taking it all apart and tracing the wires out. No crossed wires or anything. Took apart the gauge cluster itself, and it was not pretty. It must of gotten water or moisture in it or something cause there was dust and corrosion. One of the small capacitors must have leaked as well cause there was rust too. The weird thing is that out of the two connectors that go to the cluster, if I just plug in the clear plastic one, my turn signal indicator and high beam indicator work the way they are supposed to. If if plug them both in, all the indicators and everything lights up. So I'm thinking the cluster is shot and thats also why the FI light is on. Anyone know where to get a decent cluster for not a ridiculous price? lol

Default Instrument Cluster

Keep checking Ebay. There is one on there now for $250 and I saw one go in the last couple of days for $150.

Default Exact same problem

Hey! I've got the exact same problem. My high beam and both signal indicators both stay on constantly. Everything else works properly.
I figured out if I disconnect the ignition wire (brown/black), the turn signal indicators and high beam indicator work properly, but then the rest of the gauge cluster doesn't work.
I've been putting up with this for a long time, and it is annoying.
I have my cluster apart right now, and it looks just fine.
Has anyone else seen this?
Has anyone fixed it?
