Also agree with 900RR, better change to other frame. I saw lots being sold in eBay. Maybe if you can look for the one close by, you can inspect it first before buying it - and make sure you don't get crap items...

i took my bike to a bike Shop that has been around For twenty years. he had me pull my swing arm and sub frame. my bike is currently getting welded. there machinest custom fabricated a bracket for the interior of the frame welded it into place. the bike is now getting preped for the front. he made another bracket to support the frame to ensure that in wouldn't bend or warp while it was on the bike. its costing me 150 and it will be done before the weekend!

good deal. I was assuming that you didn't have anyone with those capabilities in your area, but if they are doing all of that then it should be good. I guess that they are gonna weld it with the engine still installed which isn't impossible. You never said anything about a problem with the "front". Either way hope repair holds up and make sure you throw em a tip for a such a fair and reasonable price on a a repair like that.

picked up the bike today from the welder. cost me 150 the guy wouldn't take a Tip he said consider it the 50 dollar increase over the initial estimate.
