I own a 96 CBR 900 rr, after putting 8k miles on it this season the motor decided to give out. I am looking to replace the motor and give the bike to my dad, who decided he wasn't old enough for a cruiser. I am just looking for some advice on finding a used motor.

I am going to purchuse an 03 954 from my buddy with 5 k miles on it to replace my 900.

i bought my 954, My dad is going to buy himself a newer bike..... not sure if its the motor or if the motor needs some work.... im just gonna sell my 900 as is..........
